Why Support Avian Health Networks StopPDD Challenge?
- For our birds! We need to make sure that research into Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD) continues.
- Our birds need a definitive & non-invasive screening test.
- There is no safe quarantine against PDD until there is a proven cause and proven mode of transmission.
- The symptoms and side effects that have been associated with PDD are varied, its routes are unknown, and its outcome is fatal.
- To learn more about PDD please refer to our website and read our frequently asked questions by clicking on "PDD FAQ".
- Read the stories of some that have been lost to PDD honored on the PDD Memorial Quilt. Do not let their lives be lost in vain! All of us can help put a stop to this dreaded disease by pulling together collectively and working together.
- Meet and follow stories of the birds and their owners who are battling this disease.
